Sweet Heat Wings


  • 1 Pack of Chicken Wingettes
  • 2 tsp of Desha’s Sweet Heat
  • 2 tsp of Lemon Pepper
  • 2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 2 tsp of Accent
  • 2 tsp of Black Pepper
  • 2 cups of Buttermilk
  • 3 cups of All purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup of cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 5 tbs of butter
  • 1 carton of Cooking Oil


  1. In a bowl, season your chicken with 2 tsp of sweet heat, lemon pepper, garlic powder, accent, and black pepper.
  2. Mix it all together!
  3. Next, add 3 cups of buttermilk to the bowl and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
  4. In a ziplock bag, mix 3 cups of all purpose flour and 1/2 cup of cornstarch together.
  5. Heat up your cooking oil.
  6. Once the temp reaches 375, coat your chicken in the flour and place it in the fryer!
  7. Cook all your wings and place on a cooling rack.
  8. In a pot, melt 6 tbs of butter and 1/2 cup of honey. Let it melt and turn off the heat.
  9. In a bowl, add your fried chicken. Next, pour your honey and butter mixture on top and sprinkle some sweet heat seasoning on top!
  10. Garnish with parsley and Enjoy!
